Edie recently moved to the area from Humboldt County in California. She spent her work career focused on access to healthy food by low income neighbors. She worked in a homeless shelter, and later as an advocate for homeless housing and access to services. In Central California she oversaw food access in an 8 county area with the Central California Regional Obesity Prevention Project, primarily working with low income diverse communities. Edie was co-chair of Roots of Change, organizing for a sustainable food system. Edie loves the work of Edible Landscapes here in Yamhill County.
